Dallas, Texas— January 11, 2010— ClearPointe, a pioneer in managed IT services, today announced that is has acquired Savant Technologies, a Dallas-based IT services and solutions company. Savant has served small and mid-sized companies’ IT needs for more than 20 years. This acquisition will double ClearPointe’s footprint in North Texas and provide the company with further expertise in the Healthcare industry, particularly in dental and orthodontic care. All full-time employees will remain with ClearPointe. Including the prior acquisition of TecWatch in October of 2009, the combined companies will provide remote managed services to more than 25,500 devices across the country. The companies will operate under the ClearPointe name and employ more than eighty professionals through offices in Arkansas and Texas. Savant clients will be able to take advantage of a 24/7, fully-staffed Network Operations Center, as well as a deep repertoire of managed IT services.

Bill Crowsey also will continue as General Manager Dallas, while Mark Matheney, previous CEO of Savant, will become Technical Services Manager and Jeff Butcher, previous president of Savant, will become Senior Account Executive for ClearPointe.
